Buses
Buses travel throughout the city and its outer areas almost 24 hours per day. Many of the routes are prepaid only to cut down on time spent administering tickets, so you'll need to be prepared with a ticket before you board the bus. You can find ticket outlets all over the city, including near bus stops, so you shouldn't have a problem with this.
Centre city bus stops close to Mantra on Kent are located at Circular Quay, Wynyard and Central Stations. Visitor information kiosks can be found at the Queen Victoria Building.
Cycling
Combine your transit with fitness by cycling your way around the city. The Sydney government encourages people to use bikes and is building a 200km bike network to help cyclists safely navigate their way around the city. Free Cycling in the City and Bike Maintenance courses are held by the City of Sydney each week.
